Natural Remedy For Stretch Marks

This is the second part of the article with the title remedy for stretch marks in the first part I was inspired after visiting my green house to talk about Aloe Vera and the role it plays as a remedy for stretch marks and a wonderful all round healer for the skin and how a great many commercial manufacturers use Aloe Vera in their preparations which they market as a skin care product. You should always consider natural skin products over more aggressive treatments such as laser treatment for stretch marks.

Perhaps you have not read any of my articles before so I will tell you a little about myself or at least the background behind my interest or in all honesty lack of interest in stretch marks. To be perfectly candid my interests and hobbies have nothing to do with stretch marks or the stretching of skin, or maybe, just maybe, I am thinking about stretching my legs on the golf course, bending my back in the garden.

Forgive me but you will soon learn that I am easily distracted especially to thoughts or golf or gardening. However, I will go back to the question of my interest in a remedy for stretch marks. This has developed because my daughter has stretch marks from her previous pregnancy or should I say previous three and is once again pregnant and concerned with finding a remedy for her existing stretch marks and would like to prevent any more developing. My wife also has some very old ones that she would like to remove. Though I’ve no idea why and after all these years - I love her just as she is and would never find anyone else that cooks the way she does.

It is so strange the way women worry themselves silly over a wrinkle or stretch mark hear of there, yet we see their beauty way beyond skin level. Or is that just me? I believe my attention may have wandered once more. Often when writing about a remedy for stretch marks, I am led back to my garden, please be patient, there is a point to this and I am not leading you up the garden path, along side it actually to my lavender hedge.

When you look at the ingredients of most products commercially marketed as a stretch mark remedy you will find they contain lavender, to be more specific, usually the essential oil that has been produced by distillation of lavender. Lavender essential oil is extensively known for its skin conditioning properties and is the basis of many a skin care product marketed for dry skin. It is also known to soothe and calm the skin. Consequently this is a good starting point if you are searching for a remedy for stretch marks.
