I am going to tell you about a quick way to get rid of stretch marks but first I must tell you this .I usually like to start the day with a smile on my face. Today I have a much larger one than usual. Let me tell you why. I have talked to you about my “Mr and Mrs Posh next door before,” well they now have a new addition to the family, a posh dog to match.
This morning they are in the field that backs on to our properties walking the dog. I can here “Mr” going, “look Mitzi, “Catsssssssssssss! Arched his back, hissed again and chased the dog around the field. Dear little Mitzi survived the ordeal and is now quite happy in her back garden and will probably have a new found respect for felines. Mr and Mrs Posh though, oh the humiliation, I think that may linger a little longer.
Stretch marks are an everyday skin condition that is universally disliked among most women including my wife and daughter. Also you will know that this household is totally absorbed in preventing stretch marks and their removal. There is never a day goes past without a discussion on this or that skin care product and “do you know anything about that new skin cream to get rid of old stretch of marks. I wonder how our posh neighbours manage, but of course stretch marks wouldn’t be a topic on their agenda, would they.
Now a friend of my daughter, who is in the early stages of pregnancy is looking for a quick fix for her stretch marks, she acquired in a previous pregnancy. It’s a special evening out and she wants to wear a short skirt and is concerned someone might notice the stretch marks on her legs.
So what can she do? Well there are a number of options, a concealing treatment can give instant benefit by hiding discolouration and bad texture, especially if makeup is applied over the top. Break an egg and separate the white and spread this over the affected skin. There are many new collagen filler skin creams that have been made to fill wrinkles, just musing here, but I wonder how effective they might be for a quick way to get rid of stretch marks. All these are only a temporary measure but will help my daughters friend feel more confident about her evening out and anyway, what’s wrong with wearing a pair of tights these days. I’m sure there are plenty of you out there already saying, “silly old man.”
