My wife and daughter have gone shopping for the morning, so I am hoping to have a quite time in my garden, without listening to the constant chatter from my wife and daughter about this, that and the other stretch marks treatment. Last night we went out a meal at our local Indian restaurant. We have known the owners for many years, so naturally enough; we were asked how our daughter was coping, during her pregnancy. Somehow my wife and the owner’s wife ended up talking about a stretch marks treatment. This is really taking the biscuit, or should I say curry or curry and stretch marks. It’s all right I am not loosing my mind. The common factor here is turmeric. Apparently mixing up a cream from the following ingredients, lemon, olive oil, the cream from the top of the milk and a pinch of turmeric, makes an excellent stretch marks treatment.
This stretch marks treatment is spread over the stretch marks and gently rubbed off after ten or fifteen minutes. The owner’s wife said that she had used this cure after her pregnancy to remove stretch marks and that it is a wonderful skin treatment. Not only is turmeric an excellent stretch marks treatment. It is a cheap and original beauty aid. Turmeric paste smeared over the skin cleans and beautifies it. I suffer from cracked feet, not that we were talking about my feet over our meal, anyway, if you warm some coconut oil and add a little turmeric powder to it. This can be massaged into your feet to prevent roughness and cracks. I realise I have totally digressed from the subject which is stretch marks treatment but I though you may also be interested in these skin care tips, especially if you have problems with dry skin.
It is time for me to knuckle down and look like I have been researching a stretch marks treatment before my wife and daughter arrive home or I shall be “stretched” and be in need of much more than some medication for a cure. Its O.K, I only jest, I love my wife and daughter dearly, and so they must feel the same way about me, mustn’t they? Mustn’t they??
Last word for the gardeners out there - Apparently the dried turmeric, which we buy in packets, is not considered pure, so I was also given advice on how I could grow it in my heated greenhouse. I dare not go into this here but if you type in how to grow turmeric – you’ll find plenty of information.
