Some people say egg whites get rid of stretch marks. But because of a recent experience of mine I have decided to devote it entirely to the eggs. Why? Well what is the saying “egg on your face” when you are feeling humiliated, well that’s me. If you follow my articles regularly you will know that I have a daughter who is pregnant for the fourth time living three doors away and my wife who keep me very busy trying to find information on products for stretch mark removal.
You will also be aware of the fact that I enjoy a good game of golf and that this takes me away from the topics of health, fitness, natural skin care, my daughter’s aches and pains during pregnancy. Consequently this is why I enjoy giving my legs a good stretching on the golf course.
However, don’t ever play golf with your boss or in my case your son-in-laws boss, it’s a definite no-no. You may get away with missing the ball and spending eighty percent of the day in a bunker, this can be assumed as bad luck. Continually talking when he is trying to take a shot – NO, and guess what he will be equally unimpressed if you beat him and SO will your son in law. So you see I stretched more than my legs.
With that out of the way, egg whites are highly effective in getting rid of stretch marks. You can use the powder or separate it from the yoke of the egg. They supply the skin with a rich source of protein.
Me, I like to eat my egg and they are good for the eyes. Studies have shown that just eating one egg a day can prevent macular degeneration. Another study discovered eating eggs everyday lowers the risk of cataracts developing. I know this has nothing to do with stretch mark but I thought you might be interested.
Did you know that one egg contains six grams of protein and nine of the essential amino acids, now this is interesting because amino acids form the building blocks of the skin and tissues. In this way egg whites could be valuable to prevent stretch marks and to repair the skin, especially as eggs are known for there high sulphur content which promotes healthy nails and hair. Tomorrow you can discover how to get rid of flabby skin and stretch marks.
In conclusion, those people who say that egg whites get rid of stretch marks are probably right.

My daughter has been to our local natural health centre to see what she can do to get rid of stretch marks on thigh. This is her fourth pregnancy and she wants to prevent stretch marks forming during this pregnancy and is thinking about ways to remove the older ones on which run from the top of her knee into the thigh.
The result of this visit is a booklet full of stretch mark remedies and skin care products plus general advice, so I will share some of this with you. The most important advice she received was that during pregnancy anything she decided to use should be discussed with her doctor because some creams and lotions made specifically for stretch marks contain ingredients that could be passed to the unborn baby or taint the breast milk.
She was given advice on diet and exercise: Drink loads of water. Sufficient hydration maintains your soft and supple skin, which is less likely to develop stretch marks. Caffeine can add some extra risk. Stretch marks can also be caused by a nutritional deficiency. Ensure you eat foods that support skin health such as fish, nuts, citrus fruits, milk and eggs.
A few quick tips for you, brush the skin on your thighs with a loofah or skin brush whenever you have a shower, use baby oil and massage, use an apricot scrub, use vitamin k cream, massage flaxseed oil several times a day, try an anti-cellulite cream, fresh aloe Vera gel with lemon juice and try out some acne creams.
They were also promoting a new skin care product called Trilastin. This cream guarantees results within sixty days or they give your money back. Trilastin can help give your skin the essential elements needed to help sustain its maximum elasticity to prevent stretch marks, and get rid of existing stretch marks by using the latest technologies of advanced Virtual Patch and Filling Micro-Sphere.
This stretch mark cream is an all-inclusive mix of proteins, peptides, humectants and anti-oxidants, purposely prepared to work in harmony together. Hello once again. This is the second article on stretch marks removal. A quick recap on the first article for those of you who might not of seen it. I began by mentioning the methods to remove, prevent, and get rid of stretch marks.
I then related a friend of mines story, which demonstrates that a man does not judge a woman by her stretch marks alone; as a matter of fact they don’t interest him at all. In the story the relationship ended and it really makes you wonder whether this had anything to do with her insecurities about her stretch marks. BUT as I’m not a psychologist and was not a fly on the wall in that particular relationship, so I will leave it there. I concluded that article by taking a look at a stretch mark cream containing Retin A, which is a great remedy for stretch marks and is available on prescription from your health practitioner or doctor and talked of how to use and avoid side effects. This now only leaves me with the content for stretch mark removal for this particular article.
Stretch mark removal can be attained with laser surgery. This encourages collagen production but this is extremely expensive and you might prefer to consider microdermabrasion as an option. Treatment by microdermabrasion removes stretch marks by partially removing the top layer of skin so that the skin below tightens and smooths. Like when you sandpaper a piece of wood, well maybe the men out there might appreciate that analogy, personally I love to see a piece of wood perfectly sanded and finished off with the finest of sandpapers. Oh dear, did I digress yet again? Microdermabrasion stretch marks removal is not painful and requires no anesthetic. A qualified beautician can perform it at a health clinic.
There are many widely available oil or cream based preparations available in drug stores, pharmacies and over the Internet for stretch marks removal. Most of these skin care products contain a form of collagen to make the skin more elastic. Other ingredients can be vitamins A and E and cocoa extracts. Using these will improve skin health, counteract dry skin, keep the skin supple and if you massage daily while applying them will encourage circulation and ease skin tension.
I know I have stressed this in many previous articles but the most important thing that you can do to achieve skin health and prevent stretch marks is to drink at least eight glasses of water a day to keep the skin hydrated. You may then find that there is no need to worry about stretch mark removal.

I will save my humor or lack of it and get straight on to the topic, which is stretch marks removal. There are a great number of methods to prevent, remove and rid of stretch marks. These include skin care products in the form of oils or a cream, plastic surgery, laser surgery and a great deal can be done with from a nutritional viewpoint. With the correct nutrition, your overall health improves, as does the health of your skin.
If you are a pregnant woman you will know that stretch marks can develop during your pregnancy because of your skin being stretch to its limits and loosing its elasticity. You will probably also be aware that six months after the birth of the baby, stretch marks will more often than not, have faded and be less visible and you will probably consider that stretch marks removal is not necessary.
However, they distress some women who believe they are severe enough to seek a way to get rid of their stretch marks. A friend of mine once told me a little story, which I believe is relevant here and in some ways makes you wonder why women feel the need for stretch marks removal. You knew I wouldn’t be able to resist didn’t you. Here is his story.
“A few years ago I had a relationship with a women in her early forties, she wasn’t fat, a bit over weight I suppose. She was attractive and I quickly fell in love with her. When I discovered that she had a lot of stretch marks, and I mean a lot, I was surprised to find it didn’t make any difference to the way I felt about her. Unfortunately the relationship ended with many tears on both sides - it was very, very complicated!! A year or two later, I had another relationship with a women about the same age. She had an amazing body with not a stretch mark to be seen anywhere. But I didn’t feel the same way about her to the way I felt about the first one mentioned.”
I hope this reassures some women that we men are not the fickle creatures they believe us to be and that if we love someone it is despite their weight, wrinkles or stretch marks. Assuming that stretch mark removal is still your main concern your doctor may be able to prescribe you a stretch mark cream with Retin A. It is able to penetrate to the dermis and help renew skin cells by boosting collagen production. This skin care product should only be used after the pregnancy and not whilst nursing your baby. When using this stretch mark cream, you should stop taking any supplements of Vitamin A, as this can produce side effects. I will talk to you more about stretch mark removal in the second article on this subject. Speak to you soon.

Today we will once again be looking at ways to get rid of stretch marks. First a musing on procrastination, which comes from the Latin meaning “for tomorrow”, in other words putting off what you could do now, for tomorrow or until the last possible moment. My wife and daughter are always accusing me of this. I believe they are wrong because someone who procrastinates feels guilty, loses confidence and is self-critical. Me, I don’t suffer any of this, it’s just that I prefer to be playing golf or be in my garden instead of doing what they “think” I should. As with all things it really does depend on the perspective you have. My life doesn’t revolve around skin care, pregnancy, and the baby on the way and how to get rid of stretch marks. Theirs does and I wouldn’t have them any different but I’m not one hundred percent sure that they feel the same way about me.
I have been reading about coconut oil. It isn’t by chance that people, who live in places where coconut oil is both used for the body and in the diet, have beautiful hair and skin. Massaging coconut oil into your skin is a great way to prevent and get rid of stretch marks. Coconut oil protects you from free radical damage internally and externally. It is excellent for dry skin and well helps you avoid wrinkles and lines. By keeping the skin in good condition it will help prevent stretch marks appearing in the future.
When you use coconut oil with its antimicrobial properties to replace unsaturated fat in your food or apply to your skin it reduces free radical damage and you look more healthy and beautiful. When you need to get rid of stretch marks coconut oil can be more effective than many other products, manufactured to treat dry skin, skin regeneration and stretch marks. When applying coconut oil to get rid of stretch marks, a little can go a long way. It is best used right after a bath or shower. Leave your skin slightly damp and apply a thin layer on any problem areas.
When using any product to get rid of stretch marks, you can accelerate skin regeneration by using an exfoliating tool or body rub to remove the dead skin cells. I will speak to you later with more on how to get rid of stretch marks.

Good afternoon. As I promised to look into emu oil and its role in a stretch mark cream I will try to get on with this without too much chatter, though I must say what a wonderful lunch my wife prepared for us and the fifteen or thirty minutes cat nap after, just what I needed.
Emu oil is stated to be natures ideal emollient. It is an excellent transdermal carrier and it promotes skin healing in stretch marks, from inside out. The arrangement of fatty acids in emu oil is similar to those in human skin, which allows any stretch mark cream containing this to be absorbed much faster and therefore, it is more effective.
Research has shown that a good stretch mark cream will contain the unsaponifiable lipids extracted from avocado seeds, and that adding copper or zinc chelates will augment its effectiveness. For a full skin treatment, there are a number of different types of abrasion pad and scar massagers on the market and many find that using one of these or an exfoliating scrub allows for faster penetration of the stretch mark cream into the skin. Others have found it beneficial to apply the skin care product to the skin, let it soak in for five minutes and then rub it in. A stretch mark cream based on a solution of retinoic acid and hydroquinone has been found to be particularly effective in eliminating unsightly skin disorders including stretch marks. So try these solutions before you switch to more aggressive methods like laser surgery for stretch marks.
Feeling impressed with my work, I will print a copy and hand over my research on cream for stretch marks to them on my way to the green house to side shoot my tomatoes. That’s the beauty of plants, you water, feed, take out the unwanted parts and they flourish. My wife and daughter are like beautiful plants to me. How much simpler life would be if they could appreciate this. For the time being, though, they will be happy in their quest for a stretch mark cream, for health and fitness, for a firming cream for their face and what ever the next new skin care product might emerge from the onslaught of advertisements on the television. Oh yes, my tomato plants ask for so little of their very short lives and provide so much.

I have just driven my daughter to the shops and back to her home and promised her sincerely that I will resume my Internet search for her on how to get rid of stretch marks. It’s still raining, so there’s no chance of a game of golf or to spend anytime in my garden. This means I can be obedient and follow her instructions. No I’ve not learned how to bark yet, and I never will, I just know how to keep the peace and make life a little easier on myself. After all pregnancy’s an emotional time and this is my daughter’s forth round! Excuse the pun, looks like my minds on golf again.
OK, I have settled into my research on how to get rid of stretch marks and I have a few interesting points that I can share with you. It looks like it’s possible that stretch marks are caused by some sort of hormone action. It appears that you don’t have to be large, fat or pregnant to get stretch marks on your skin.
Did you know that water might be a contributing factor in the formation of stretch marks? It seems that over time, your cells and other areas of your bodies, which need hydration, break down and are unable to hold onto water. This leaves them weakened and less effective. It is possible to reverse the breakdown of your skin and prevent future damage by making a few changes to your diet. Looks like my wife and daughter may have to swap their cups of tea for pomegranate juice and water. How will the teapot cope, going from overwork to redundancy?
Research has found that the answer to many women’s common beauty afflictions, this includes how to get rid of stretch marks, doesn’t involve invasive action. All it needs are internal nutrients, some minor lifestyle adjustments and a topical stretch mark cream or some other skin care product to nourish the skin. Each step works synergistically with the others for optimal skin health. This means I have not only found a possible answer for how to get rid of stretch marks but also this skin care routine will also help prevent stretch marks and a bonus, you will have less wrinkles.
I have found a quote, which sounds very optimistic. Dr. Alexis Carrel, a winner of the Nobel Prize in Medicine, said: “The cell is immortal. It is merely the fluid in which it floats that degenerates. Renew this fluid at regular intervals, give the cells what they require for nutrition, and as far as we know, the pulsation of life can go on forever.”
The suns coming out, so I’ll just print the instructions that I have found for getting rid of stretch marks, hand them to my wife and spend some time nurturing my tomato plants. They also need frequent hydration.
