Stretch Mark Cream

Only The Best Cream For Stretch Marks Will Get Rid Of Striae

Looking for the best cream for stretch marks? Not matter what advert you see for a stretch mark cream, they all say they are the top skin care product to remove stretch marks or the best cream for stretchmarks. I believe it is a very individual matter and what works for one type of skin may not work for another.

In the last article I told how one of my daughters friend was searching on how to get rid of strech marks and how she used cocoa butter to tend her skin as it stretched throughout her pregnancy with twins and had no stretch marks. She did not suffer with dry skin either as this left it really smooth and soft.

If you read my articles about stretch mark removal regularly, you will know that I used one to compare Trilastin SR with Strivectin SD and this proved that the lowest priced is not always the inferior product when it comes to finding a good formula.

Pregnancy stretch marks is not the only time in life when stretch marks appear. Puberty is a time of many growth spurts that can cause stretching in the skin over a period of time, as can weight lifting and bodybuilding. Losing weight quickly can also lead you to look for a skin care products.

My daughter is using Trilastin SR, she wishes to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy and remove the older ones that she has as well. So far in my investigation into the ingredients that go to make up the formula, I have told you about Coenzyme Q10, Arctostaphylos Uva Ursi leaf extract Macadamia Ternifolia seed oil, and hydrolyzed collagen. Next on my list of ingredients is beeswax.

This is a natural wax that is made by honeybees. When I think of beeswax I think of lubricating the old wooden windows we used to have or the drawer that wouldn’t open, candles and wood polish but then these days most furniture is not made from real wood. I believe I’m in danger of straying from the point once again. It doesn’t take much does it.

I have just read a sentence, which confirms that beeswax is used in cosmetics and yes it is beneficial for scars. What happens is that as the cream is absorbed in your skin, it deposits small pools of oil in the skins structure. These replace the oils, which have been removed by stretching and help the skin regain its elasticity. Beeswax is also beneficial by stimulating new skin growth.

Will Trilastin SR prove to be the best cream for stretch marks for my daughter? Well the answer to that has to be, that only time will tell. But she claims that she can already see the results.

Choose Carefully When You Buy Over The Counter Stretch Mark Creams

There are many over the counter stretch mark creams, although many might actually be classed as oils or lotions. Today my daughter is hosting her “exercise for pregnancy” group. They have all been using different products to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy and today they will be talking about some of the different skin care products, which you can buy locally. I shall sit in for a little while and take notes to relay to you.

First up is Palmers cocoa butter. This is a concentrated cream or lotion that contains collagen and vitamin E. it helps to prevent stretch marks and remove them. It is recommended to smooth, soften and relieve dry skin. The only complaint about this product seemed to be that the lid clogged but this was easy remedied by running under the hot water. This is a small price to pay if this skin treatment is useful for stretch marks and their prevention.

Bio-Oil is purposely-prepared specialist skin care oil for stretch mark and scar removal. It improves the skins elasticity and therefore helps to prevent stretch marks forming as your skin is stretching throughout your pregnancy. This cream is applied twice a day and needs to be massaged in to the stretch marks on a daily basis for at least three months. There are many good reviews written about Bio-Oil.

Vitamin E cream can be used to soften the skin and help to prevent stretch marks but it was the general opinion that if you want to get rid of stretch marks it is far better to use Vitamin E oil as a natural skin care, as this is more concentrated. One girl discussed how she bought the most potent capsules she could and pricked one with a pin and massaged directly on the area of the stretch marks. Taking a supplement of Vitamin E daily is also beneficial to your skin.

Coconut oil is an organic skin care product that is totally pure and natural and has no added ingredients. It can be used whatever your skin type is. Another girl talked of how she had used this all the way through her last pregnancy with twins and had no stretch marks. I hope the ladies won’t be offended by me calling them girls, but when you get to my age, they’re all girls.

Other over the counter stretch mark creams, lotions or oils include shea butter, flax seed oil, olive oil, and the two favourites that I grow the plants that they derive from in my garden and greenhouse, Helichrysum oil and aloe Vera gel. Vast majority of these ingredients and substances are contained in Trilastin-SR stretch mark cream.

How To Get Rid Of Stretch Marks On A Black Girl

Good morning or what ever it happens to be in your corner of the world. Don’t worry too much, I’m not going philosophical on you, I was just thinking corners of the world because the title of this article is “get rid of stretch marks on a black girl.”

As you all probably know by now, once a week my wife and daughter have a get together in our lounge which they call “exercise during pregnancy group” well they do talk about exercise and tongues must become extremely stretched, as they talk about their pregnancy, how to prevent stretch marks, baby clothes, nutrition and stretch mark removal. I guess you get the idea, bottomless teapot and because of their condition, endless trips to the toilet.

Today is going to be slightly different an expert has agreed to join them to talk about stretch mark removal and look at ethnicity, black skin and a stretch mark cream. This part of the meeting will only last for an hour so I shall join in for this portion only and see what I can learn and then escape to my greenhouse.

The skin on a black girl is darker because she has more melanin in her skin. This pigment protects against sunlight, which in turn slows down the aging process. Consequently this keeps black skinned women looking younger than their white counterparts. And there is a good idea for my article tomorrow. How do teenagers get rid of stretch marks? Let’s go back to today’s topic, hyper-pigmentation or darkening or the skin is a problem as their skin scars and stretch marks form so easily.

She generally will have excessive natural oils in the face but a dry ashy skin on the body. African American skin is inclined to lose elasticity more easily which results in loose skin and stretch marks. The black girl or woman often finds plucking or shaving, which can result in the formation of dark spots, easily irritates her skin.

Black skin needs heavy oil like shea butter to penetrate deep into the skin so that it is well hydrated though not overly oily. This is also a good product to use during pregnancy. A sunscreen should be used daily to prevent uneven pigmentation. Interestingly enough shea butter contains large quantities of Cinnamic acid, which is a natural sunscreen. Creams containing Retin- A or Tretinoin are suggested for dealing with hyper-pigmentation.

One of the best creams available to get rid of stretch marks on a black girl is Trilastin SR, as this has been proven to work on all skin types and comes with a solid guarantee and is available world wide. It is a bit expensive but I don’t mind paying an extra buck for stuff that works.

Natural Remedy For Stretch Marks

This is the second part of the article with the title remedy for stretch marks in the first part I was inspired after visiting my green house to talk about Aloe Vera and the role it plays as a remedy for stretch marks and a wonderful all round healer for the skin and how a great many commercial manufacturers use Aloe Vera in their preparations which they market as a skin care product. You should always consider natural skin products over more aggressive treatments such as laser treatment for stretch marks.

Perhaps you have not read any of my articles before so I will tell you a little about myself or at least the background behind my interest or in all honesty lack of interest in stretch marks. To be perfectly candid my interests and hobbies have nothing to do with stretch marks or the stretching of skin, or maybe, just maybe, I am thinking about stretching my legs on the golf course, bending my back in the garden.

Forgive me but you will soon learn that I am easily distracted especially to thoughts or golf or gardening. However, I will go back to the question of my interest in a remedy for stretch marks. This has developed because my daughter has stretch marks from her previous pregnancy or should I say previous three and is once again pregnant and concerned with finding a remedy for her existing stretch marks and would like to prevent any more developing. My wife also has some very old ones that she would like to remove. Though I’ve no idea why and after all these years - I love her just as she is and would never find anyone else that cooks the way she does.

It is so strange the way women worry themselves silly over a wrinkle or stretch mark hear of there, yet we see their beauty way beyond skin level. Or is that just me? I believe my attention may have wandered once more. Often when writing about a remedy for stretch marks, I am led back to my garden, please be patient, there is a point to this and I am not leading you up the garden path, along side it actually to my lavender hedge.

When you look at the ingredients of most products commercially marketed as a stretch mark remedy you will find they contain lavender, to be more specific, usually the essential oil that has been produced by distillation of lavender. Lavender essential oil is extensively known for its skin conditioning properties and is the basis of many a skin care product marketed for dry skin. It is also known to soothe and calm the skin. Consequently this is a good starting point if you are searching for a remedy for stretch marks.

Aloe Vera As A Remedy For Stretch Marks

Good morning/afternoon or what ever time it is in your part of the world. Today I am going to talk about a remedy for stretch marks. My inspiration this morning comes from my green house. Some years ago, I found a discarded Aloe Vera, it had almost turned brown, and so I picked it up and re-potted it. My Aloe Vera has rewarded my for the first time this year with the most wonderful orange flowers.

Just in case you are wondering what this has to do with a remedy for stretch marks, I would say everything. When the Aloe Vera gel is removed from the center of the Aloe leaf, you will discover nature’s miraculous therapeutic gift. Aloe Vera gel makes an excellent skin care product to use during pregnancy and afterwards. Many commercial brands specifically made as a remedy for stretch marks contain Aloe Vera.

Stretch marks form because of the skin stretching beyond its limits over a period of time and insufficient collagen and elastin in the dermis. Aloe Vera stimulates the cells in the dermis to produce more collagen and rejuvenates the skin in this way it is also useful to prevent stretch marks.

My wife and daughter are very lucky, as they do not have to go and buy Aloe Vera gel as a remedy for stretch marks. My plant is extremely large and appreciates having a trim occasionally. A sharp knife is all that is required to remove the outer skin and the gel is then available to them. If you are considering laser surgery to remove stretch marks, Aloe Vera can be used to soothe the irritation, which you might experience afterwards.

As I mentioned earlier Aloe Vera is a great healer not only as a remedy for stretch marks but also useful to prevent wrinkles, as a moisturizer for dry skin, relieve inflammation and burns, treat bruises and reduce swelling. Additionally it protects the skin from the effects of smoke, dust, and sun. When you use Aloe Vera as a remedy for stretch marks, you will find you also keep your skin youthful and fresh looking.

Next time you are at the shopping mal, supermarket or garden center why not pick your self up a plant. Mine sits under the bench in my greenhouse and requires very little attention but a small plant will be perfectly happy on a windowsill. You will then be able to tell all your friends, I grow my own stretch mark remedy and my own remedy for dry skin. Best of all, your beautiful stretch mark free skin will be your testimony.

Are You Wondering About How To Prevent Stretch Marks?

This is the second part of tips on how to prevent stretch marks. The first concerned a couple of patents, which I encountered for maternity braces. However I could find no evidence of this particular brace actually in production, although there are others, perhaps it was adapted along the way, who knows? What I do know though is that my daughter and her “exercise during pregnancy” group were extremely interested in this patent that was filed in October 2000 and gave it great consideration in their discussions on how to prevent stretch marks.

Whilst trying to find out how to prevent stretch marks, I encountered another patent, which was filed in March 1997. This is a way to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy by diagonally taping a polyurethane sheet backed with adhesive over the stomach area for most of the pregnancy period. The theory behind this development seems to be preventing the stretch marks, which are caused because of skin tension. Once again if you know any more about this product and whether it was ever developed – let us know.

Putting all this aside lets look at what you can do in the here and now to prevent stretch marks so you won’t have to think about laser surgery for stretch marks later. Firstly it is important during your pregnancy to eat balanced healthy diet to keep your weight gain within the suggested range of twenty to twenty five pounds. First-rate nutrition is not only important to the developing baby but also is a factor in the health and strength of your largest organ in your body, the skin. Also a steady weight gain allows your skin to stretch at a steady rate, so it is less likely that stretch marks will form. If you massage the areas of existing stretch marks or areas where you wish to prevent stretch marks, this will increase circulation which can be beneficial.

During pregnancy, keep the skin substantially and effectively moisturized. Try out one of the many stretch mark or skin care products and keep to the instructions. These are specially formulated to prevent stretch marks and will help keep your skin elastic and supple. Most contain vitamins, which additionally act as a skin food and enhance the production of collagen and support the dermis. This protects the skin despite the vast stretching.

Exercise Is Also Preventing Stretch Marks

Welcome to the second article for today on preventing stretch marks. If you found that I was not my usual chatty self earlier on, then I do apologize. All this talk of stretch marks by my wife and daughter was becoming, well, just a little too much and I was keen to give my legs a stretching on the golf course. This is my daughter’s fourth pregnancy and she is keen on preventing any further stretch marks developing in this pregnancy and would like to remove the stretch marks from her previous ones.

I am very patient with all this and spend a great deal of time researching on the Internet for my wife and daughter for tips to prevent stretch marks and products to help remove or reduce stretch marks. This morning however my wife and daughter dropped the bombshell, or that’s what it felt like to me, they would like me to research on exercise during pregnancy. AND maybe I would like to clear the large old shed out at the bottom of the garden, so my daughter can have some friends around, who are also in the early stages of pregnancy, for a small exercise club.

Me and my big mouth, I said they just as well go the full hog and use the lounge, I didn’t mean this seriously, but there you go, Wednesdays are to be a social get together, for light exercise, discussions on preventing stretch marks and whatever women in the early stages of pregnancy talk about. How silly of me, beauty tips, skin care, skin cream, the pregnancy and of course the baby, not forgetting all the baby stuff. Maybe they can start a knitting club next!!!

In the last article I gave you several choices for preventing stretch marks olive oil, cocoa butter, coconut oil and a choice of essential oils. Whichever you choose they all work extremely well to keep the skin supple.

I am feeling much better now, I have had an excellent game of golf and had a good moan at you, so now I think that I can put all thoughts of preventing stretch marks aside for the moment, as there is a wonderful smell coming from the kitchen and as it’s nearly time for our meal, I need to go and investigate. I believe I might have mentioned before that my wife is a wonderful cook. Talk to you soon.

Popular Choices For Preventing Stretch Marks

Hello, as I am determined to get in a game of golf this afternoon, I will not waste anytime with small talk today and will begin talking to you about preventing stretch marks. There are many natural oils and creams that you can use throughout you pregnancy.

Science classes stretch marks as a form of scarring. Stretch marks are the consequence of skin being stretched further than its natural elasticity. This stretching interferes with the body’s collagen production. Collagen is what keeps the skin elastic and able to stretch as you gain weight.

To help prevent getting stretch marks, it is essential to keep a close eye on weight gain. During pregnancy you need to put on weight as a normal part of the childbearing process but you should be mindful that you do not put on more weight than your doctor recommends. This does not mean that you should starve yourself throughout pregnancy to avoid your skin over stretching and forming stretch marks. Just take care to eat sensible, healthily and gain weight slowly. This allows the skin to gradually stretch and retain its elasticity.

Some tips on preventing stretch marks during pregnancy. Olive polyphenols are known to fight free radicals and prevent their toxic effects. Use extra virgin olive oil as a skin care product during pregnancy, also take a spoonful of oil daily or mix with salads. If you don’t like the taste, you can buy olive oil capsules. Another way to improve the elasticity of your skin during pregnancy is to rub cocoa butter, although not everyone likes the smell of this product. One of the best ways of preventing stretch marks during pregnancy is coconut oil. It not only softens the skin but also promotes healing and protects against damage. As mentioned above most stretch marks are caused through connective tissue damage. Coconut oil actually helps to keep connective tissues strong and supple and in some cases can restore damaged skin.

A friend of my daughters, who is taking a course in skin care and essential oils, recommends using neroli, mandarin or lavender essential oils for preventing stretch marks during pregnancy. These oils are not used neat but a few drops are blended with carrier oil and massaged into the skin. Taking light exercise is also useful for preventing stretch marks as you gain less fat, stay fitter and regain your figure quicker afterwards.

I will speak to you more on preventing stretch marks after I have stretched my legs and given my golf clubs some exercise, speak to you soon.

75% Of Women Has Pregnancy Stretch Marks

This is the second article on pregnancy stretch marks. The first one probably was not to informative as I spent my time and word quota, having a good moan about my wife and daughters obsession with stretch marks, skin care, pregnancy and past pregnancies and how all this was affecting my time on the golf course.

I intend, and intention is everything is it not, to make this article more interesting an informative, so here we go. Pregnancy stretch marks materialize as raised red or purple welts, generally on the breasts and stomach, though they may develop on the lower back and legs. Gradually many will lighten to white welts.

Usually 75% of women get stretch marks during pregnancy, (notably my wife and daughter, well I couldn’t resist having just a little dig, could I) most often in the sixth or seventh month. They come about because the stomach is very distended or the skin stretched over a period of time. Your pregnancy and the stretching of the skin, causes the skin’s support structure, elastin and collagen, to break down.

The skin is built up in three layers, the outer layer is the epidermis, the middle layer is the dermis, and the inner layer is called the subcutaneous. This is where fatty tissue is accumulated. How do I know so much about pregnancy stretch marks? Well just in case you have not been following previous articles, how to prevent stretch marks and how to get rid of stretch marks are the main topics of conversation in our house between my wife and daughter these days.

My job is to research pregnancy stretch marks for them, to give them something to talk about with their morning cup of coffee and afternoon tea and when out shopping for maternity and baby clothes. I guess you’ve got the picture by now.

The dermis is the skins support and it is kept firm by its structure, collagen. This is the layer in which stretch marks come about. Healing the damage caused by stretch marks must take place at this level. Something that will interest my wife and daughter, apparently there is a hereditary factor with pregnancy stretch marks. If your mother gained stretch marks throughout her pregnancy, you are likely to as well.

As my daughter is in her first trimester of this pregnancy, maintaining moisture with a good skin care product for stretch marks will improve the elasticity of her skin and prevent further stretch marks forming. It is good that she recognizes the need to drink adequate water to maintain water balance from inside out. Pregnancy stretch marks need not be a problem, nor should getting to the golf course tomorrow, especially after my hard work today.

Is it hard to remove stretch marks?

I’ve just spent an afternoon on the golf course away from all the incessant chatter about stretch marks, stretch mark removal and the likes that my daughter and wife seem obsessed with. When I mention my afternoon, my wife retorts that it’s only a game and that she has something serious to talk to me about after our evening meal.

This is worrying because the kitchen table is still covered with pamphlets about this and that regarding various stretch mark products, which she and my daughter have spent a good part of the perusing. I really did think the table might be laid for my dinner by now.

As I’m fairly house trained, I begin to clear the table, a pamphlet falls on the floor exclaiming how stretch marks are unattractive, and embarrassing and can destroy your confidence. That they affect a woman’s choice in clothes and the way they show their bodies. It such a great thing to be a man isn’t it. Embarrassing for me well that’s a “topping”, for those with no knowledge of this term, that’s when you strike your golf ball on the head, instead of in the middle and sending it scuffling ignominiously just a few yards ahead.

This pamphlet claims a cure is possible for stretch marks and that you can regain your self-confidence. This product guarantees visible results in a matter of few short weeks. Wow, pondering, but what will they find to talk about when they’ll find out how to get rid of stretch marks. My wife still absorbed in removing an eye from a potato appears not to notice my interest and so I continue reading.

Apparently this skin treatment directly changes the look of the tone and texture and contains a proprietary compound for firming the skin. The skin becomes more elastic and hydrates. It has proven to be ninety three percent effective in clinical trials.

Oh boy, I am beginning to visualise a peaceful life, can this be possible, after so many years of being haunted by my wife and her stretch marks and now my daughter. Oh and then there’s the latest pregnancy and the “what if I get more stretch marks?”

Well low and behold the next pamphlet contains information on how to prevent stretch marks. This product is used twice a day. I firmly believe its time these two stopped all the talking about these products and start trying them out. “Is the table ready yet dear” comes the voice from the kitchen. Startled out of my reverie, I hurriedly pack everything away and shout “yes dear”. My wife enters the room carrying two plates of food. Oh yes, the way to a mans heart is through his stomach, no doubt about this.
